Yes and their triumphant return to Rome, May 5th, 2024

One of the world’s all-time greatest prog-rock band, Yes, made their triumphant return to Rome’s Nuvola (cloud) concert-venue center.

The 77 year-old veteran maestro-guitarist Steve Howe (he had joned Yes back in 1971) was joined on stage by Geoff Downes on keyboard (sitting in for Rick Wakeman, he too a 1971 veteran), singer Jon Davison (in for original founding member Jon Anderson), bass guitarist Billy Sherwood (in for the other founding member along with Anderson, Chris Squire) and Jay Schellen on drums (in for Alan White who was on drums for John Lennon’s masterpiece, “Imagine).

Songs from the great British band went back as far as 1969 and their debut album, “Time And A Word” right up to their latest LP, “Mirror To The Sky” (2023).
