Blues guitarist Joe Louis Walker entertained a small crowd of blues aficionados in the wonderful setting of Villa Varda (it goes back a few centuries to 1670) located in the town of Brugnera, Italy during the town’s yearly “Blues In Villa Blues And Jazz Festival”.
Walker has in the past rubbed shoulders with the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Ike Turner, Chuck Berry, Albert King, Thelonious Monk, John Lee Hooker, John Mayall, James Cotton and the late, great Muddy Waters himself.
He was joined on stage in
Brugnera by five outstanding musicians, including dynamite singer Bertha
Blades, who made Walker’s 90 minute concert a bundle of (blues) joy.
