The “Divine One” Steve Hackett electrifies fans in Rome, July 31st, 2022

Former Genesis member (from 1970-1977) electrified fans at Rome’s Auditorium-Cavea.  

The 72 year-old guitarist is on his current “Seconds Out” world tour.  He filled the Rome’s venue with old diehard Genesis fans who thanks to Hackett’s exquisite guitar skills (some say that it was he who had invented the “tapping” sound on the guitar before the late, great Eddie Van Halen) were taken down a magnificent memory lane. 

Hackett was joined on stage by superb six musicians including lead singer Nad Sylvan (closing one’s eyes one couldn’t help but think of both Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins on vocals!).
