Garage-psychedelic rock band Fuzztones play in a small but packed venue, Rome, Italy.
America’s Fuzztones played in a front of a packed “Teatro
Lo Spazio” audience, located right behind Rome’s majestic St. John’s
Basilica.
The current quartet is a garage-psychedelic rock revival band which was founded in New York city in 1980 by singer-guitarist Rudi Protrudi. The band’s unique name comes from the “Fuzz Tone”, the commercial name of a particular guitar-effect pedal which was invented in 1964. Its rather distinctive sound became world famous with the 1965 Rolling Stones hit song "”(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”.
